Directions

  1. Take 2/3 cup of cake mix and put on the side.
  2. Mix remaining cake mix, melted margarine and 1 egg together until crumbly.
  3. Spray a 9"x13" pan with Pam and press mixture on bottom.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool 5 minutes.
  5. While the cake is baking, mix the corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, pecans, 2/3 cup cake mix, and 3 eggs all together.
  6. Pour over crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  7. Cool thoroughly then cut into squares

1 Box yellow cake mix (Not with pudding in it)4 eggs1 stick butter or margarine melted1-1/2 cup corn syrup1/3 cup brown sugar1 tsp vanilla2 cups chopped pecans
